Wait…Yahoo bought Tumblr?

It could go either way I guess.

If yahoo continues their track record, Tumblr will slowly die.

If they decide to dump a bunch of cash at it, Tumblr might actually get the bugs and issues fixed and finally make something great.

Another long day!

So I realized I didn’t mention anything about Mrs Rudie going to be in the hospital.

She had jaw surgery yesterday. She had a severe under bite? Over bite? Whichever. Her bottom jaw was back so far back she would hit the top of her mouth when she bit down.

So yesterday we came to the hospital (1.5 hours away) for 10. She was supposed to go in for surgery by 12. But they were running very late. She didn’t end up going in until 3. He didn’t even start until 4:15. Surgery went well though. She was in recovery by 6. And up to her room by 7:30.

It was a long night. She didn’t sleep from the pain/pressure/throbbing and I didn’t sleep because there was nowhere to sleep. Finally at 1 I left to go sleep in the truck. But where I was in underground parking, security kicked me out. So back upstairs a nurse found me an empty bed. However it was next to the ice machine. I woke up every 30 min from 2:30 until 6:30.

When I went in to check on my wife, I found the woman in the shared room got up at 6 and decided it was a good morning to open the blinds, turn on the lights and bang around. So my wife slept for like 3 hours.

She’s doing better now but still in pain and still lots of swelling. The doc said we can go anytime, but have to stop by his office so he can check her and get prescriptions. The nurses say we should stick around until after lunch. So we’ll see how she feels and go from there. Still have a 1.5 hour drive ahead of us.

Then recovery begins. 2 weeks on a liquid diet and can’t pick up mini-me. Then 4 more weeks of taking it extremely easy.

Anyone want to take mini-me for a month? Going to be hard on me where my work schedule is changing from 6-3 to 8-5, then I get mini-me every morning, evening, night and all weekend. It’s going to feel like being a single parent. Just like when my wife had the c section. Or her gallbladder out. Ugh.

So if you’ve been following my adventures from the last couple days, you know how exhausted I am.

So I finished working at 2:30, home by 3, up at 6 and back to work. And it’s been a crazy day since. And as of right now, a memory reconfiguration on a server that should have taken 5 min is now on an hour and I can’t get a hold of the guys doing the work. Thank god I only work until 4. 3 hours to go.

So yeah…

I’m still at my dad’s office. And still fixing a server. And have to be at work in just over 6 hours. And I’m hungry. And I have no money.

Damn!
